A mild start at about 10°C just after 6:30am, with a northerly around 17 km/h already making it feel closer to 8°C. Skies are fine with high cloud, but the northwesterly picks up through the morning and turns strong. Sunrise was at 7:09am.

Still fine with high cloud, though it may look greyer at times as cloud thickens. The high reaches around 18°C, but the strong northwesterly keeps blowing, with gusts that could top 40 to 50 km/h. Hang on to the washing and the wheelie bins.
