Today’s weather brought to you by Petsmart.NZ! Corner of Deveron & Spey Streets.

It’s a classic spring Saturday in Invercargill. MetService has a high of 13° and a low of 2°, with a few showers around this morning before things clear to partly cloudy through the afternoon. Southwesterlies should ease later in the day. Right now it’s sitting around 8° with a cool SW breeze — a light layer won’t go astray if you’re out early.

Sunday looks much more settled: fine weather with a high near 15° and a low around 4°. A good day for getting out and about.

Looking further ahead, Monday and Tuesday stay on the mild side (highs in the mid to high teens), with Tuesday the warmest of that stretch. Showers look more likely around Wednesday, before partly cloudy and mostly settled conditions return later in the week, with highs climbing toward the high teens and low 20s into next weekend.
