- Two players from Invercargill and Wellington have each won over $15 million with Powerball
- Ten Lotto players across the country also won $83,333 in the same draw
- Strike Four prizes of $200,000 each also went to winners in Auckland and Wellington
Two lucky Powerball players from Invercargill and Wellington are celebrating life-changing wins, after each scoring $15.08 million in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at Plaza Supervalue in Invercargill and via MyLotto to a Wellington player. Each prize includes $15 million from Powerball First Division, plus $83,333 from Lotto First Division.
These two new millionaires are the tenth and eleventh Powerball winners of 2025. Their wins come just over a month after a Porirua woman claimed $17.2 million and shared plans to help her family with the money.
Ten more Lotto players also picked up $83,333 in First Division prizes.
The winning tickets were purchased from:
- Woolworths Queensgate and Stellin Street Store in Lower Hutt
- Greymouth Lotto & Souvenirs in Greymouth
- New World Halswell in Christchurch
- And through MyLotto by players from Tauranga, Hawke’s Bay, Wellington and Ashburton
In another lucky twist, two Strike Four players each took home $200,000. One winning ticket was sold at Woolworths Metro in Auckland and the other online via MyLotto to a Wellington player.
Lotto NZ is encouraging anyone who bought a ticket from any of the listed stores or online through MyLotto to check their ticket as soon as possible — either in-store, on the website, or through the MyLotto App.
