Wow, and double Wow!

Is this going to be the biggest sporting gig on our soil this year?  Reckon so.

Tonight it’s the Rugby World Cup Women’s final between our Black Ferns and England, the Red Roses.

One thing is a cert, it’ll be a double dip cracker.

Eden Park is sold out with 40,000plus expected. TV ratings are expected to go through the roof both here and the UK.

Look out for Black Fern’s prop Amy Rule from Riverton. (Born in Lumsden according to Wikipedia, so Lumsden can have some bragging rights too). Go Amy. Go Amy

Look out too for Hana and Amira Davis from Invers. They should be in the stands with their parents. They won a supa-dupa prize pack of tickets to the final, accommodation, flights, all the trappings by entering a competition on The Project a few weeks ago. Hope they all got there.

Getcha pois out! Game is live on TV3. Kickoff at 7.30 tonight.
