BODKIN, Arthur William (Bill):
At Southland Hospital on July 16, at the age of 92, Shirley’s beloved husband of 66 years passed away. He was a greatly cherished father and father-in-law to Ann and Graham, the late Ross and Belinda, Jane and the late Keith, Sally and Dene. He will be remembered as a treasured grandfather to twelve and a beloved great-grandfather to six children. A private cremation was held on Tuesday 18 July.
Bill’s life will be remembered at a gathering on Sunday 23 July, 1.30 pm at Ascot Park Hotel, Invercargill. Those wishing to attend are warmly welcomed to join the family for this event.

McMILLAN, John Rutherford:
It is with sadness that we announce the death of John. Loved husband of Patricia. Stepfather to Priya and James Thomas, Peter and Cindy Power, Cindy and Grant Hayes. Grandad John to Jasmine, Chelsea, Joshua, Trinity, Bethany, Ashleigh Hayes. Coby and Aria Power. Amelia and Olivia Thomas. Great grandfather to Isobel and Rylan. Peacefully, on Wednesday 12th July 2023 at Southland Hospital, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of Don for 56 years, loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Sue and Grey Russell, Erin and Craig Gerken. Adored and loved nana of Lauren, Serena, Cory, Bradley and Jordan. Loved aunty to Dean Currie and her nieces and nephews. Our sincere thanks to the caring team on the Medical Ward at Southland Hospital.
