Our lovely Mum and Nana has sadly passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her family on Tuesday March 11, 2025 at Southland Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Doug* Horne, and previously Trevor* Colvin. Much loved mum and friend of Geoff and Julie* Colvin, Chris* Colvin and Serena Buckley, Nicky and Bret Highsted, adored nana of Simone and Mike, Shannon and Amy, Harrison, and Jake, Jordan and Ashleigh, Josh, Markie and Josh, and Matt. Treasured great Nana of Madden, and Sadie and special friend to many. A service of celebration for Wendys life will be held in the St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Ardwick Street, Gore on Monday March 17 at 1.30 pm. Followed by private cremation. THOMSON, Heather Jane (née Keith):
The Wood Shed Lady.
Peacefully in the care of Rowena Jackson Retirement Village on Tuesday 11 March 2025, aged 77 years. Loved wife of Colin* and best friend/mate of Dale Smith. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Joanne and Dennis, and Terry. Adored grandma of Anna, Riley, and Sophie. Heather will be resting at 230 Herbert Street, Invercargill until Friday afternoon. A service to celebrate Heather’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Saturday 15 March at 10.00am.
