Suddenly on Thursday 17th August 2023 at Southland Hospital. Aged 89 years. Tamaiti of the late George and Turupae Brown, and the late mama Lydia. Tane akaperepere of Rimamaki Brown. Pa to Tina, Ma’ara and June, the late George, the late Turupae, Tangata, Wendy and Darren. Papa to all his moko. A service to celebrate George’s life will take place at Invercargill Christian Centre, 165 Leet Street, Invercargill, at 1pm on Wednesday 23rd August followed by a burial at Invercargill’s Eastern Cemetery. CRAWFORD, Walter:
At Southland Hospital on Friday 18 August 2023; aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Flora. Much loved and treasured Dad, Grandad and Poppa to Pete, Sue, James and Rosie (London), and Stacy, Craig, Katie and Flynn (Christchurch). Loved brother, brother-in-law and special uncle to all his nieces and nephews in New Zealand and Scotland.
