Update: Powernet advise all power is restored, and Stadium Southland is open.
At approximately 7.30pm, Thursday 31 May we experienced an equipment failure at Stadium Southland, resulting in a power outage.
Power supply was lost to 1,800 customers for 35 minutes, and nine customers are still without power in the Richmond/Glengarry suburbs.
Our teams are working on site at Stadium Southland to fix the failure and reconnect the nine customers. We are working on determining the cause of the outage. The safety and well-being of our employees and the community are our first priorities.
