Mal’s Music Memory – NZ Music Month – Last Blast – Sharon O’Neill – Bic Runga

Hi team, here we are on the last day of NZ Music Month. But in saying that, every month should be NZ Music Month and always supported by Little Fire MusicWorks, Invers only true music store.

Anyway I just couldn’t help myself. Had to get a couple more top Kiwi tunes in before June arrives.

Here are a couple of gems from two of our finest music craftswomen , Sharon O’Neill and Bic Runga

First up it’s Sharon O’Neill’s Maxine, a huge song when it came out in the 80’s and still deservedly gets plenty of airplay. No doubt about, it’s a good song!

Second up it’s Bic Runga. Bic put out a string of top songs and albums a few years ago but seems to have gone a bit quiet of late. I’m sure she’ll be back before long with more stunning music. You can’t keep the lid on talent like that for too long.

Enjoy Sharon and Bic and have a great Queens Birthday weekend. Call in and talk music with Hayden and Toni at Little Fire MusicWorks or check out their facebook page.

Mal
