Two Invercargill Lotto players are $60,000 richer after Wednesday night's draw.

A player who bought their ticket at New World Elles Road won $43,448 after hitting Lotto Second Division and Powerball Second Division. Another player at the same store won $17,369 with Lotto Second Division.

A third Southland winner bought their ticket through MyLotto in Gore, also collecting $17,369.

The three were among 21 players nationwide who won Lotto Second Division, each taking home $17,369. Only the Invercargill player added Powerball Second Division to their haul.

New World Elles Road sold two of the winning tickets — unusual for one store to have multiple Second Division winners in a single draw.

The Gore winner bought their ticket online through MyLotto, meaning they'll be notified automatically of their win.

A single Lotto ticket sold in Ashburton has won a massive $28.2 million Powerball prize after 11 consecutive rollovers.

The winning ticket was sold at Four Square Netherby in Ashburton. The total prize is made up of $28 million from Powerball First Division and $200,000 from Lotto First Division.

The win makes the lucky ticket holder New Zealand’s 11th Powerball millionaire of 2026.

Four other Lotto First Division tickets also won $200,000 each. The winning tickets were sold at Four Square Netherby in Ashburton, New World Browns Bay, Glen Innes Dairy and Lotto Outlet in Auckland.

A Strike player also won $200,000 with Strike Four, with the winning ticket sold at Park Night N Day in Timaru.

The winning Lotto numbers were 1, 9, 36, 13, 11 and 4. The Bonus Ball was 24 and the Powerball was 9.

Lotto says MyLotto players can check their tickets through the app, while anyone with a physical ticket should visit a Lotto retailer to claim their prize.
