An Invercargill Lotto player is $333,333 richer after Saturday night's draw — but Powerball rolled over again, and now it's sitting at $25 million.
Three tickets split First Division in draw 2616 on Saturday August 29. One was sold through MyLotto to an Invercargill City player. The other two went to Auckland — one through a West City Lotto store, one through MyLotto.
No Powerball winner. It happens. Wednesday's draw is now worth $25 million, which is the kind of number that makes people who never buy tickets suddenly remember they should.
Strike Four also paid out to three players, each taking home $333,333. Those tickets were sold at Tauranga City Lotto in Tauranga, Pak N Save Clarence Street in Hamilton, and through MyLotto to a Waikato player.
Second Division was spread thin across ten winners, each collecting $37,752. Tickets came from Pak N Save Kaitaia, two MyLotto entries from Whakatāne, MyLotto sales in Auckland, Waikato, and Palmerston North, New World Stonefields in Auckland, Pak N Save Kilbirnie in Wellington, New World Timaru, and New World Centre City in Dunedin.
