Long awaited and much-loved son of Gemma and Brent, sadly born sleeping on Sunday, August 25, 2019. Adored brother of Matthew, Narzyna, Jamie-Lee, Tyler, Mila, Emersyn. Gorgeous wee Grandson of Scott and Mary-Jane Bradley, and Pat and Maurice Dodd. Nephew of Kane, the late Matthew; Nish and Ryan, and Donna.

CRAY, Jeremy Syme (Jerry, Jem).
On August 27, 2019, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch, aged 62 years. Dearly loved husband of Lynette, loved father and father-in-law of Trevor and Courtney, Thomas (Tom) and Skye, step-father of Vincent Bielawa, mentor of Adam Dekker, and much loved Pa of Azariah, Sebastian, Nadia, and Richard. Loved son of the late Gerald and Ruth Cray, brother and brother-in-law of Deborah (Debbie) and Haami Te Whaiti, Geoffrey (Geoff), Godfrey (Goddy) and Fleur Cray. Respected uncle, cousin and friend to many. He will be sadly missed. Many thanks to the staff of Christchurch Hospital Oncology and Nurse Maude Hospice for their care of Jerry. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Jeremy Cray, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers donations to Nurse Maude Hospice would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Peacefully on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Loved wife of Cecil Herbert Tippett* and of David William Delaney*, mother and mother-in-law of Kevin and Lynda, Tony and Jenny, Yvonne and Deyell, Colin and Lynette, Leonard*, Simon and Daphne*, Cecily and Garry, grandmother of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Tui’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill, on Saturday, August 31, at 10.00am, interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery. POLLOCK, Bretton John (Brett).
Brett passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 with his family by his side, after a brief but fierce battle with cancer. Aged 68 years. Loved husband and companion of Narelle. Much loved father and father-in-law to Kerryn and Karen (Wellington); Anna and Andy (Auckland); and Belinda and Joe (Te Kuiti). Proud Pop to Amos, Vienna, Lola, Jackson, Max and Olive. Brother and uncle to Craig, Robert and Andrew. Son of Bruce and Betty Pollock (deceased) (Cambridge), and son-in-law of Murray and Denise Faul (Invercargill). Special thanks to Sara and the great team at Hospice Waikato.
Dedicated farmer, intrepid traveller, community leader, horse trainer and honest-talker to all those who were lucky enough to know him.
A service to celebrate Brett’s well-lived life will be held at Trinity St Paul’s Union Parish, Queen Street, Cambridge, on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 1.00pm. YOUTHED, Ronald Hale (Ron).
On August 25, 2019 at Perth, WA aged 83 years. Adored partner of Nola Sumner and father figure to Nathan and Shelley Sturgeon (Perth), Daniel and Andrea Sumner (Brisbane). Loved Poppa of Frank and Evie, Dylan and Luca. A Memorial Service for Ron will be held at a future date to be advised in Te Anau, with interment at Lynwood Park Cemetery.
