Peacefully at Hospice Southland on 24th January 2025 surrounded by his family. Loved husband of Noeline, much loved dad of Mieke, Matthew and Temira, Tineke and Kevin. Loved Grandad and G-dog to his many grandchildren. Much loved brother and uncle. As per Peter’s wishes a cremation has been held with a private memorial service planned. DOBSON, Ian:
Unexpectedly on January 28, 2025. Much loved husband of the late Anne. Father of Peter, Sue and Kevin Walsh; Stephen and Terri. Grandfather of Michael, Amanda, Samantha, Kelly; and Tristan; Great-Grandad of Poppy, Cooper, Braxton and Quinn; Oakley and Carter. "Gone to find the perfect hunting and fishing spot."
A service to celebrate Dobbie's life will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 1:30pm, in Leishman's Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha followed by private cremation. Anyone wishing to say goodbye to Dobbie is welcome to do so between 11.00 and 12.00 on Monday in Leishman's Chapel. PANAGIOTIDIS, Judith:
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Aged 90 years. Dearly loved and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Maria, Katherine and Alex, Teresa and Michael, Helen, Philip and Tania, Alexandra (dec). A loving grandmother to Seth, Steph, Nik and Jono, Holly and Mack, Laura and Ben, and Kosta, and her great-grandchildren plus extended family. Now safely in the arms with her brothers and sister. A private cremation has been held at Mum's request. Judy's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 4, 11.00am, at J Fraser and Sons, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. SHAW, Dorothy:
Of Cromwell, formerly of Southland. In her 86th year, peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer. Dearly loved wife of the late Raymond, and Lindsay. Mother and mother-in-law of Barry and Mishelle, and Nana, aunty, sister and friend to all her Shaw, Hodges and Traill family members. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held in the Cromwell Presbyterian Church, 10 Elspeth St, Cromwell, at 10.30am on Wednesday, February 5. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NZ Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

TAYLOR, Mary Wilmot (nee Hickman):
Passed peacefully on Thursday 30 January surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife for 70 years of Ron.  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Janet & Richard Lean, Chrissie & Herman Morsink, Shirley and DJ*. Loving Gran of Gregor & Yvette, Bradley*, Lauren & Brad, Karyn & Sam,  Sarah & Vanessa, Rachel & Chris and loving Great Gran to her 12 Great Grandchildren.
