18-07-1963 – 30-04-2022
Surrounded by his loving family, peacefully at Hospice Southland, on Saturday 30th April, Peter lost his courageous fight. Treasured soulmate and best friend of Elaine. Dearly loved son of Barbara and the late Wilson Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Joanne and Noel Wilson, Brian and Maxine Carnie, Warren and Katherine Kingdon, Rex Kingdon and Nola Calvert, Raeleen, and Bob Allison. A very much-loved uncle of his nieces. A very cherished nephew, cousin, and awesome friend to many. A service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held on Tuesday 3rd of May, at Ascot Park Hotel, Invercargill, commencing at 2 pm and followed by a private cremation. Passed away peacefully at South Canterbury Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, on 29 April 2022; aged 66. Much loved husband of Kirsty for nearly 40 years. Much loved father and father in law of Tanya and Chris, Kimberley and Peter. Treasured grandad of Michelle (deceased), Evabella, and Emily. Loved son of Sylvia, and Colin (Deceased). Loved brother and brother in law and loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating Donald’s life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road Timaru, on Thursday 5 May 2022 at 2pm. Peacefully surrounded by her family at BUPA Invercargill on 29th April 2022. Much loved wife of *Hunter and loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Morton (Tasmania) David and Diane, Megan and Muzz, Annabel and Steve (Melbourne). Loved Gran to Hamish and Jack, Lucy and Jacob, Micah and Wiremu and Isabella, Natasha and Gabriella. Loved daughter of *Gavin and *Peggy Morton (Scotland), Daughter in law to *Jack and *Anne Howe. 7.3.1946 – 28.4.2022
Peacefully with her children by her side at Hospice Southland, aged 76 years. Very much loved and treasured Mum to Kama, Dale and Mickelle. Adored and very special Nana to Chase. Loved sister and sister-in-law to Pauline and Jimmy Rea, Alan, Patricia and Digger Keppa, and Wendy and Murray Sword. Loved by all her nieces and nephews. A service for Sandy will be held in the Southland Crematorium Chapel on Tuesday, 3 May at 3.00pm. Special thanks to the loving and caring staff at Hospice Southland and all of Sandy’s amazing friends that have been there for her and supported her throughout. Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family at Southland Hospital on Friday 29th April 2022, in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim. Loved mother and mother in law of Anne and Stuart Grant (Kaikoura), Ian and Deirdre (Wellington), and friend of Gale. Loved Grandma/Granny of Jane and Chuck (USA), Sarah and Neil (Dunedin), and Hannah (UK); Hamish and Alexander (Zandy)(Wellington). Loved Great Granny of Raegan, Piper (USA), Annabelle and Freddie (Dunedin). Loved sister and Aunt to her wider family in NZ and Scotland. Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital on 30th April 2022 aged 84. Dearly loved husband of Lee. Father of Terence, Raymond, Sheryl, and their families.
