Peacefully, and with dignity, in Gore, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in her 96th year. Loving wife of the late Mervin, loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Ken and Trish, Dennis and Maree, the late Kay and Paul Griffin, treasured grandmother ‘Nan’ of Jennifer, Andrea, Melanie, Hayley, Phillipa, Justin and Simon and her ten great-grandchildren, daughter of the late Frank and Isa Small. The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care and comfort provided to Amy through her seven years at Windsor Park. As per Amy’s request a private family interment has been held. Passed away peacefully at Bupa Ascot Resthome, on Sunday 10th March 2024. Dearly loved son of Bert* and Molly* Murray. RODGERS, Dan Godfrey:
Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital, after a short illness on Saturday March 9, 2024. One month short of his 93rd birthday. Devoted husband of the late Nola (nee Perks). Much loved father and father-in-law of Robyn and Grant McFarlane (Cromwell) and Dave and Sharon (Invercargill) and also a much loved uncle to Craig and Julie Rodgers. Cherished by his grandchildren and enjoyed by his great-grandchildren. A cherished friend of Gina Gilmour. Thanks to Driving with Miss Daisy, St John Ambulance crews and to the staff of the Southland Hospital Medical Ward for their care and support.
