Trish passed away peacefully in the care of Perriam Wing, Clare House, Invercargill, on Sunday 8 October 2023. In her 70th year. Loved wife of Ken for 50 years. Much loved daughter-in-law of William* and Catherine* McWilliam. MORTIMER, James Ernest (Jim):
1953 – 2023. Sadly, Jim passed away on Friday 6th October surrounded by family at Bupa Ascot Care Home. Loving husband of the late Jan Mortimer, much loved father and father-in-law of Lisa, Rachael, Kim, David and Jess. Devoted Grandad and Da to Sofia and Josiah, Maddy, Noah and Gabe, Ella, Jacob and Mikayla. Loved and respected brother of Kevin, Margaret and Kayleen as well as many nieces and nephews, and precious son of Jim and Kath. Treasured friend of Alex. Jim will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. A service to celebrate Jim’s rich life will be held in the Avenal Park Funeral Home, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Wednesday, 11th October at 1:00pm followed by a wake at The Ave Sports Bar, Avenal Street after a private cremation. Beloved mum and mother-in-law of Christine (Mosgiel) and Barry, Ken and Margaret (Christchurch), Shirley and Thomas Allison (Christchurch), Linda* and Alwyn Walter (Gore), Doug and Bev (Winton). Adored Nana and Gran of all her many grand and great grandchildren. Loved sister, sister-in-law, aunty, and friend of her extended family. At Audrey’s request, a private cremation has been held and a memorial service will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Saturday 14 October at 1.30pm.
