28-08-1929, passed away peacefully on 10 December 2023 at Calvary Hospital. (Of Edendale) – Peacefully, at Peacehaven Village, Invercargill, on Saturday, December 9, 2023, in her 90th year. Treasured wife of the late Don, much loved Mum and mother-in-law of Brent, Eualie and Neil Thwaites, Scotty and Kerry, Fleur and Neil Murray, adored Grandma of her 7 grandchildren, and special great-Grandma of her 2 great-grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Nira* and Paul Jones, Selwyn* Fantham, Rae and Art Loffhagen, and loved Auntie of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Glennis’ life will be held at the Edendale Presbyterian Church, Brydone Street, on Thursday, December 14, at 1.30pm, followed by a cuppa, then an interment at Edendale Cemetery.
