GRAY, Elizabeth "Betty" Lorraine (aka Housham):
26/07/1937-31/12/2024 Beloved mother of Eileen, Wayne, Pamela and Philip. Loved mother-in-law of Lindsay. Much loved grandmother and great-grandmother of all her loving grandchildren. Betty passed away at the Wyndham and Districts Rest Home after a long battle with illnesses. It is with great respect that we acknowledge the caring attention and love of an incredible staff. Her passing was peaceful and pain-free. There will be a private cremation as per Betty's wishes. A memorial service will be held at Wyndham Presbyterian Church on January 11th at 11 am. McFADZIEN, Ronald:
Died peacefully at home, after a short illness, on January 1, 2025. Loved husband of Viviann, loved and loving father of Belle (Queenstown) and Nick (Invercargill). Loved Grandpa of Ruby and Trista. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Jan and Trevor Manson, and Royd (Fudge) and Bronwyn . A private service has been held, according to Ron's wishes. A very special person has passed on far to early, and will be very much missed. A huge thank you to the marvelous friends who made his last weeks so enjoyable. A massive thank you to all the Hospice Nurses, carers, what a wonderful job you all do. St Johns Ambulance are amazing people. Thank you. Friends and Family are invited to a gathering for Drinks and Nibbles on Saturday, January 18, from 1.00pm, at 8A Kenmare Street, Alexandra.

Gavan passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday 29th December 2024, aged 80 years. Very dearly loved husband of Barbara. Cherished Dad and father-in-law of Richard and Karen, Sarah and Simon, Claire and Hayden. Adored Papa of Georgia, Caroline; Kate, Sam, Grace; Ben, and Abby. Loved brother of Brendan*, Kieran, Stephen, Bernadette and loved brother-in-law and uncle. A private funeral Mass and burial has been held. ROBBIE, Valerie Joan:
On Thursday December 26, 2024, Val died peacefully at Calvary Hospital Invercargill after a century of life well lived. Dearly loved wife of the late Keith. Beloved Val and Mother of Hugh, Peter, Chris, and Michael*. Friend to Dorothy; and Ken*. Loved and cherished Grandma, Super-Gran and Val of Paul and Tina, Kymm and Paul, Allie and Jackie; Sarah and Niaz, Simon and Hasti; Rachel, John and Marnie, Malcolm and Roberta, and Nicky. Great-Gran of her seven great-grandchildren in London and Melbourne. Val was also a friend to so many over the years. Special thanks to the staff of Calvary Residential and Hospital for their love and care. A private cremation has taken place, with a Memorial Gathering in the Calvary Hospital Chapel, 215 Centre Street, Invercargill on Saturday January 18, at 1.00pm. On January 1, 2025, unexpectedly, after a long battle, at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family; aged 63 years. Treasured husband and soulmate of Brenda, much loved father and father-in-law of Morgan, Sharyn, Stuart, and Anthony and Nikki, loved Grandad of Else, Lilly, Phoebe, Aurora (Rosie), Eli, and Scarlette, loved brother of Allan, David, and Kay, loved brother-in-law of David and Janice Langley, also a loved uncle, cousin and friend to many. A service for Steve will be held in Campbell and Sons Chapel, 95 Gordon Road, Mosgiel, at 10.30am on Tuesday, January 7, followed by an interment in Dunedin Cemetery. Allan passed away on December 29, aged 76.
