Died peacefully at Southland Hospital on Monday 24th June 2024; aged 83 years. BROWN, Russell:
After a brief illness and a difficult few weeks, Russell passed away peacefully in the care of Ripponburn Hospital on Saturday evening June 22, 2024, – age 83. Father to Liz and Geoff and their respective families all of Wellington. We would like to thank the staff at both Dunstan and Dunedin Hospitals for their recent care of Dad. We also extend our appreciation to all the staff at Ripponburn Hospital for their care and comfort with Dad over the 9 days he was in their care. Our extended appreciation is to Mike and Lynette Hedges, he was an extended member of your family and we thank you all for your love and support to Dad over the years in Cromwell. FOSTER, William Russell (Bill):
Peacefully at Vickery Court after a short illness on Friday 28th June 2024 aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband and friend of Isla. Much loved father, father-in-law and friend of Jeanette and Murray, Lindsay and Glenys, Russell and Pauline, Joanne and Jimmy. A dearly loved grandfather and great-grandfather of 10 grandsons and one granddaughter and 19 great-grandchildren.
