HEAVEN, Heather Rose:
Passed peacefully at Southland Hospice on Tuesday, 14th January 2025 after a courageous battle against cancer. Beloved Wife of Brian Heaven (deceased). Mother and Mother-in-law of Veronica and Lewis Cox, Carl and Nick Trainor, cherished Grandmother of Gemma, Luke, Claudia, and Courtney. At Heather’s request, a private service has been held at the Southland Crematorium, Thursday, 16th January 2025.
JONES, Majorie:
Marjorie sadly passed away at St. John's Hill Lifecare, Wanganui, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, aged 96 years. Much loved wife of the late Ernest (Ernie) Jones, and treasured mother of the late Robert (Dudley) (Palmerston North), Barbara and David Anderson (Winton), and Pamela Barnes (Wanganui). She was the loved sister of Beryl Freeman (U.K.). Marjorie was a very special Grandmother to Reese Jones, Dylan Jones (both Palmerston North), Carla and Vinny Lawrence (Invercargill), Rachel Anderson (Winton), Matthew and Kylie Anderson (Auckland), James and Cushla Barnes (Wanganui), Sarah Barnes (Upper Hutt), and her eight great-grandchildren. The family sincerely thank St. John's Hill Lifecare for their loving care of our Mum during her short stay. It was Marjorie's wish for a Private Family Farewell, which has been held.

Unexpectedly on Sunday 12 January 2025; aged 44 years. Loved father of Darion and Jhia, devoted partner of Kylie, awesome son of Rangi and Iona, loved brother and brother-in-law of Kelly and Riley, beloved uncle of Ruby and Flynn.

Casey will be at home in Evening Cove Road, Stewart Island. His service will be at the Stewart Island Community Centre, Monday 20th January at 11.30am, followed by private cremation. of Winton (East Limehills). Passed peacefully at Rowena Jackson on 14th January 2025, aged 89. Loved grandfather of Phil and Katie, Kate and Renata, Matt and Laura, Ellie, Bronte and James, Elby, Luka and Noemi, Anika, Lenny, and Robbie. Great grandfather of Archer. Passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, at Bupa Parklands, aged 78 years. Dearly loved husband of Anne, cherished father and father-in-law of Katherine and Alistair Harbrow (Arrowtown), and Steven and Roxie (Villegouge, France). Devoted grandad of Alex and Zoe Harbrow, and Oliver Scott. Loved brother of Pam Mason and Ken Scott (Mosgiel). The family are deeply grateful to the staff at Camellia Court and Bupa Parklands for their kindness, friendship, dedication and exceptional care shown to Brian. Lyall passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness and a brave battle on Thursday 16th January 2025. Aged 76 years. Devoted and loving husband of Fay. Incredibly loved father, father-in-law and very proud ’Wal’ of Deidre and Roly, Sam, and Allie Senior (Oamaru), Glenn and Debbie, Daniel (Invercargill), Kelvin and Simone, Kamryn, Makenna, and Ashar (Winton).
