After a courageous, quiet battle with cancer, on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, aged 74 years. Husband of Jude*, loved father and father-in-law of Andrea, Tim and Selina, and baby Ashmore*, cherished Poppa of his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Son of Mary and Aussie* Millard, adored brother and brother-in-law of Steve and Shirley Millard, Anne and Owen Smith, and stepfather of Richard, Rebecca, and Lance Higgie.

After a courageous battle, Ian passed away peacefully at home, on Friday, 9 June 2023, aged 70 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Graeme and Melissa, grandad of Oakley. Son of the late Albert (Cecil) and Alice. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Beverley, Margaret, Warren, Maureen and Donald, Tommy and the late Annette, Peter, Pat, Ross, Robyn, Susan, Roger, the late Cathy, and the late Grant. A fondly remembered uncle. A dear friend to Ross, Al and Denise, Liz, Mark and Vanya, Sally, Bill, Jack, Phil, Ronnie, Johnny, Jim, Tony, and the late Janet, among others, and beloved dog dad of Speights. In accordance with Ian’s wishes, a private cremation has been held, and a celebration of his life and the scattering of his ashes will be held at his Tinkertown home from 2pm on Sat, 15 July 2023.
