BARRON, Myrtle:
On July 3, 2024 at Parkstone Care Home, Christchurch, in her 101st year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Stuart, and much loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Colin (Harry) and Margaret, Allan and Sally and the late Beverley, Mervyn and Noelene, Lyall and the late Sue, Donald and Tracey. Also much loved and adored Nana, Great Nana, and Great Great Nana of 47 other family members. At Myrtle’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place both here in Christchurch, and Invercargill in the coming summertime, followed by her burial at Invercargill’s Eastern Cemetery, with Stuart. A special thank you to the staff at Parkstone for their care and attention given to Myrtle over the past seven and a half years.

COURNANE, David Francis(Doc):
On July 5th, suddenly at home. Aged 76yrs. Much loved husband of Alexis. Loved and respected dad of Grant(NSW) Chris(Spain) Sophie(Cromwell) Rachael(Melbourne) and Mar (Christchurch), father-in-law of Deborah, Jason Lee and Nicola. Loving grandad of Luke and Stella, Noa and Iker, Eddie and Indie, Liam and Isaac and Max. Brother and brother-in-law of Kevin and Eve, Noel and Diane, Marilyn and Alistar, Lester and Sylvia, Brendan and Esther, Adrian and the late Stephanie. Rosary will be celebrated at St Mary’s Basilica, 65 Tyne Street, Invercargill, at 5.30 on Thursday 11 July and Service at 10.30 on Friday 12th July. CULLEN, Ross Douglas:
Peacefully at home, on Friday, July 5, 2024, aged 65 years. Loved, son of Doug* and Aileen, loved brother and brother-in-law of Neil and Janette (Christchurch), Lynley and Murray Walton (Melbourne), loved uncle of Joella; Caitlyn, Morgan, and Aimee and best mate of Blue. A service to celebrate Ross’ life will be held at the Calvin Community Church, 25 Robertson Street, Gore on Wednesday, July 10 at 1.30 pm followed by refreshments, then interment at Charlton Park. Peacefully on July 3, 2024, at Gore Hospital, with her loving family by her side; aged 77 years. Dearly loved wife of Wynston for 57 years, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Nigel and Mia, Ian and Toni, cherished Gran of Rebecka, Anna, and Josie; Cade, and Mitchell, loved sister and sister-in-law of Les* and Cis Walker, sister- in-law of Russell* and Philippa McLachlan and a loved aunty of her nieces and nephews.
