Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, North Road, Waikiwi, at 1.00pm on Monday, May 1. Peter will then be laid to rest at the Eastern Cemetery. It is with great sadness that Pete died suddenly in the Critical Care Unit at Dunedin Hospital on Tuesday 25th April 2023 surrounded by his loving family, aged 68 years. Dearly loved son of Zita and the late Maurice. Loved brother of David and Judy, Trish and Henry Wadworth, Chris and Ana, Richard, and Andrea and Graham Beggs. Treasured uncle and great-uncle. A celebration of Pete’s life will be held in J Fraser & Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, at 1.30pm on Monday 1st May, followed by a private interment at the East Winton Cemetery. Thank you to all those who were there for Mum especially in those last few months. Special thanks to her friends, Carol, Liz, Helen and all of the other St John ladies who continually rallied around Mum. Thank you to Una for officiating the funeral, so lovely to have a friend of Mum’s be able to do this for us.And to the Keen Team, Warren, Irene and the girls, for being Mum’s “second” family – she loved you all so very very much.
– She is missed and loved beyond words by Kama, Chase, Dale and Mickelle.
