HEASLIP, Theona Mina (Ona) (nee Bryce):
Born 13 June 1949 – Passed 29 August 2023. Beloved Wife of the late Tony Heaslip. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Jason and Liza Heaslip (ChCh), and Lyla Heaslip (ChCh). Beloved Nanny to Charlotte, Tayla, and Sarah-Jane. Loved sister to Kaye, the late Rena, Stanley and Billy. I would like to thank all her dear friends and whanau who have supported Mum over the last few years. A special shout out to Jan, Vaughn and April, and Trishie who have looked after Mum, after Dad passed away 18 months ago. A special thank you also to all her dear friends from Bluff that she talked to daily. Last but not least, to all the family and whanau that went Mutton-Birding on the TiTi Islands that are like one big rowdy family, and get together for a customary three-month adventure … thank you all. Mum loved her time down there, and her ashes will be down there forever. In keeping with her wishes, a private service has been held and a gathering will be arranged in the near future. Loved father and father-in-law of Tamara and Alex Sargent, Brandon and Rachael, the late Alison. Adored human of his fur babies KC and Pepper. Loved grandad to Hunter, Lacey, Arlo, Koa and his grand fur baby Jager. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Shane and Rosemary, and Rebbecca and Phillip Richmond. A loved nephew to all his nieces and nephews.
