They are not violent, or anti vax, there are both vax and unvax people there, to show their support for freedom of choice and no more segregation. With all my coverage of the anti mandate protests in Invercargill they are every day people of all ages with valid concerns and questions on the mandates.
If the mainstream media took the time they would know this.

The mainstream media have been very misleading on the way they have reported the protest and protesters.
The reality is there’s a party if not festival atmosphere feel about the protest. People uniting and celebrating our freedom.
The No Mandates & Freedom Festival is one of the few big festivals to go ahead after so many events have been canceled. With more people from all over New Zealand arriving daily. (joke) *Trigger warning
The festival is expected to swell in numbers over the weekend.
What are they protesting?
- Our Freedom back
- An end to the jab mandates so they can get their jobs back
- Removal of some Covid registration that was rushed through
- not anti v ax, Pro choice
They are protesting on Parliament gardens on public land, therefore the protest is legal.
