HWR Group has moved into its new tower building in downtown Invercargill, and other tenants have also started to occupy the space.
Featuring a ground floor with eight additional levels, HWR’s head office takes up floors five, six and seven. The top floor is used by the HWR property team and a private apartment.
Property manager Sue Hill said Westpac officially moved into the ground floor and Level 1 on 25 Esk Street last week.

Bonisch Consultants are now also operating out of the HWR Tower and Forsyth Barr’s fitout has commenced.
The ground floor corner space (Dee St/Tay Street) will be home to the new ‘Otto’s Corner Store’ – which will be open before Christmas, and is a project of Scott & Joc O’Donnell’s son Cameron and his wife Milly.
“It is a higher-end homeware and gift store with a premium coffee bar. It offers kitchen, bedding, coffee brewing accessories and other homewares. It’ll be bringing fresh, fun new brands not currently available in the city,” Sue said.
HWR is happy with the new build and is excited to step into a new chapter in the building.
The new building has brought an extra 300 new people into the central city and will benefit Invercargill Central tenants and surrounding retailers.
