Today on 18th September 2010 a major dumping of snow arrived overnight causing Stadium Southland’s roof to collapse and cave in.
Local decorating & homewares store, Wrens on Yarrow Street also suffered a roof collapse under the weight of snow.

Being sturdy Southlanders, the Todd’s decided that having the roof cave-in was not the end of the world. They got a brand new store, covering 1,000 sq metres, with plenty of room to showcase their huge ranges of bedding, furniture and giftware.
