Southland Boys High School’s First XV rugby team is set to celebrate their remarkable double victory with a grand parade. These young champions not only clinched the New Zealand Barbarians 1st XV National Championships but also secured the prestigious Moascar Cup. Join the parade celebrations on Wednesday 13 September by securing your spot along Don or Esk Street, particularly between Dee and Kelvin Street. Don and Esk Street offer the best vantage points to catch all the action.
The parade will feature the team, coaches, and support staff proudly displaying their trophies. Local dignitaries and community leaders will also be in attendance to honour these remarkable athletes.
This parade is a chance for the community to come together and cheer on our local champions. Not only did Southland Boys High School First XV take out the New Zealand Barbarians 1st XV National Championships but are also the new holders of the famed Moascar Cup.
