Upcoming Work – SH6 Dee Street Update
Apologies for the late notice—there has been a slight change to the SH6 Dee Street roadworks schedule, with work starting tonight (11 February) at 6pm. Due to other roadworks on Leet Street impacting the southbound lanes of Dee Street, work will now begin in the southbound lanes.

  • Tuesday, 11 February (Evening) – Southbound lanes will be milled between Gala Street and Spey Street. Southbound traffic will be detoured via Victoria Avenue, Mersey Street, and Spey Street. The Spey Street intersection will remain open.
  • Wednesday, 12 February (Evening) – Milling of the southbound lanes will continue with the same detour. If time allows, the northbound lanes may also be milled in the early morning. Once this begins, southbound lanes will reopen, and northbound lanes will be closed. Northbound traffic will detour via Spey Street, Mersey Street, and Victoria Avenue.
  • Thursday, 13 February (Evening) – Milling of the northbound lanes from Spey Street will be completed. Pedestrian access remains open, and northbound traffic will detour via Spey Street, Mersey Street, and Victoria Avenue.
  • Sunday, 16 February (Evening) – Over-milling of sections in both directions will take place. Only one direction will be closed at a time.
