It’s been a big week in politics with local National for Invercargill MP Penny Simonds being elevated to #20 in the National caucus, prime minister Jacinda Ardern chucking in the towel and resigning and only one nomination was in the hat to take over the top job. That was the man that stole SIT from us, new prime minister Chris Hipkins.

In other news reporter Aimee Wilson had a chat to Gaire Thompson about his plans for newly purchased old SIT arcade and downtown buildings.
