“There has been a lot of excitement in Lotto stores around the country as the jackpot’s grown over the past few weeks – and now there’s $38 million up for grabs with Powerball on Wednesday,” said Kirsten Robinson, Senior Corporate Communications Manager at Lotto NZ.

“If a single player is lucky enough to win Powerball First Division on Wednesday night, it will be the second-largest prize ever won in New Zealand.”

Meanwhile, six lucky Lotto players have each won $166,667 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at the following stores:

Store Location
Northcross Pricecutter & Lotto Auckland
