Police are appealing for public assistance following a serious car crash in Invercargill last month. The incident, involving two vehicles, took place around 1:40am on Sunday, 20 October, at the intersection of Ness Street and Janet Street.

One individual remains in hospital with injuries, while three other people involved have since been released. Police are specifically seeking anyone who may have seen a silver Mazda station wagon around Pomona Street near John Street shortly before the crash, between 1:30am and 1:40am.
Authorities are also asking for any dashcam or CCTV footage from the vicinity on the night of the crash. Those who can assist with information are encouraged to either submit details online or call 105, referencing case number 241020/5642.
