Police Appeal For Witnesses About Mataura Crash

Police are appealing for members of the public who may have witnessed or have information about a crash outside the Four Square on Main Street, Mataura.
The incident occurred about 6.20pm on Saturday 4 May.

A vehicle, described as a white or light-coloured four-wheel-drive, reversed into a red Honda parked outside the Four Square, and then left the scene.

A woman witnessed the incident and alerted the Honda’s owner.

The four-wheel-drive was last seen on Albion Street with the other vehicle’s front bumper stuck to its tow bar.
