Otautau Man killed In Helicopter Crash In Lindis Pass Area Named

Police can now release the name of the man killed in the helicopter crash in the Lindis Pass area yesterday.
He is Liam EDWARDS, aged 32 years, of Otautau.
The accident site was about 1 kilometre from the Lindis Pass Road

The other occupant of the helicopter, a 51 year old man, is currently in a serious condition in Dunedin Hospital.The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) are currently en route to the area.
