National Chooses Candidate For Clutha Southland

The National Party has chosen its candidate to contest the recently much talked about Clutha Southland electorate.

Hamish Walker was chosen to be the man at a meeting in Winton last night.

Hamish Walker says he’s excited to have this opportunity and says he is ready to hit the ground running. He says while the National Party has had strong support in the electorate he’ll be taking nothing for granted.

The 32 year old business adviser stood for the National Party in South Dunedin in the 2014 general election
