Hey team, it’s 40th birthday time.

Yep 40 years ago the other day The Rolling Stones released the LP Some Girls.

The album is significant as Keef was in a pile of trouble on drug related matters and it’s the first album that Ronnie Wood played on as a fulltime Rolling Stone.

SG also came out when Punk and Disco were at their zenith.

As per most other Stones albums Charlie and Bill keep the swing in the rhythm section.

And 40 years later the Greatest Rock n Roll band in the world is still at it doing a tour of the UK and Europe as we speak and Charlie Watts has just turned 77 and still plays the drums like Charlie always plays.

Here’s Miss You from Some Girls to help warm up another cold week in June and call in and chat music with Hayden and Toni at LittleFire Music Works on Dee St.

Cheers

Mal
