Mal’s Music Memory Pt 2 – Bridge Over Troubled Water Album

Hi there team.

Just had to put this in. It was this week 1970 that one of the landmark albums of modern music was released. Simon and Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water.

The album and several tracks off it were hits all over the world.

S&G went there separate ways for several years after its release but have reunited from time to time.

I’ve picked this track The Only Living Boy In New York to show off the sheer genius of Simon’s writing and the creation of the sound that was Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Catch a quiet moment and absorb this.

And be sure to talk music and music equipment with the team at our very own music store, Little Fire Music Works.

Cheers

Mal
