Mal’s Music Memory, Live In July – Cher !!!!

Okey Dokey team, hands up anyone who is going to see The Goddess of Pop in Auckland in September, or Australia for that matter?

This week on Mal’s Music Memory, Live In July with Little Fire Music Works we have a track from that very goddess, Cher.

I guess we all know that Cher has been around since the early 60’s when she hit the big time as a teenager with then husband (the late) Sonny Bono doing songs like I Got You Babe. Cher went solo and had a string of hits through the 70’s but dropped off the music radar but turned her hand to acting in some top movies during the 80’s as well as having a very lucrative concert residency in Las Vegas.

Cher certainly does not do things in half measures. Who remembers the video clip for Turn Back Time filmed on the USS Missouri with the Goddess wearing that black flimsy number? Yes I thought you’d remember that!

Anyway Cher is swinging through Auckland in September on her Farewell Tour (pity they couldn’t swing past Dunedin) . She’s bound to be doing Turn Back Time…….enjoy!!
