Southland Business Chamber CEO Sheree Carey said the judging panel was deeply moved by the calibre of nominations received.
“We were humbled by the incredible stories of care, leadership and impact happening across Southland. Reece’s family were involved in shaping this award, and like us, they believe Reece would be incredibly proud of the work being done in his name. Choosing just three finalists was incredibly tough.”
Each of the finalists reflects the values Reece embodied – selflessness, community service, and a genuine love for Southland and its people.
The winner will be announced at the Southland Business Excellence Awards Gala on Friday 19 September 2025 at the Ascot Park Hotel.
