Local First Response Officer & Volunteer Helps Out At Pukekohe Park Raceway

Southland Sports Car Club First Response Officer and Volunteer Co-ordinator, Lenard McLeod, has just returned from Auckland where he attended a Volunteer Commission meeting before staying on to assist at Pukekohe Park Raceway this weekend where the NZ Super Trucks, Formula First, Pirelli Porsche, Pro 7’s, GT1/2 & GT3/4 were on the programme.

On Saturday Lenard worked with the FR1 crew following the cars on the opening lap of races and on Sunday worked with the FR2 crew at the chicane on the back straight of the South Auckland circuit.

Lenard says he is appreciative to the Motorsport Club for the opportunity and has gained some new ideas from the experience.
