Real estate extraordinaire Jacqui van Dam has brought a whole new approach to her marketing game, and anyone who knows her will understand why.
For the Bayleys Southland Real Estate agent, it has always been about making solid connections with people first, and her new branding reflects exactly that.

‘People first and business will follow,’ means Jacqui isn’t just full of yap (she’ll leave that to her infamous sausage dog Herbie).
And anybody who knows Jacqui knows she is very good at what she does (particularly when she’s out on the Oreti River rowing).
“I just have the best team in town,” she said, and after six years in real estate, she is moving in leaps and bounds.
Her marketing slogan was inspired by the New Zealand Women’s 7s team who say ‘good people first and then play rugby.’
Jacqui brings so much extra added value to her clients, with her photography background and flair for design and furnishings.
She can help her clients transform their homes ready for the market, by just making some simple but effective changes without spending a lot of money, due to her eye for detail.
Add that to her incredible photography skills and she can deliver her clients an outstanding real estate package that is all-inclusive without any extra hidden costs.
The real estate market in Southland has been through some interesting changes in recent months, and she is seeing many new families moving into the area, from all cultures and walks of life.
The market has become much more active than at the start of the year, with investment properties selling and freeing up the market for first homeowners.
“There is so much stock around at the moment. But at the end of the day, people are always going to buy and sell.”
As a real estate agent, Jacqui has quickly learned that patience is so important because people’s situations are all very different and selling homes can be a stressful and emotional time.
“You meet some amazing people and you share with them their joy, their sadness, their laughter, their tears and their relief. Building that relationship with people and listening to them is so important. Everyone’s got a different story.”
Jacqui also has her own podcast every week on Saturday mornings Radio Southland 96.4fm or follow her on Spotify or Apple, where she shares gems of information on the real estate industry and brings in guest speakers.
‘Make a move with Jacqui.’ She’ll see you right.
