IRD Transformation – Nationwide Job Losses Predicted

Hold them up to ridicule, you know, the last bastion of the old style government department job for life syndrome.

But we at WOI are shocked and dismayed to hear that IRD has announced plans to discard up to 30% of its staff nationwide over a period of time.  That’s up to 2000 good, honest hardworking folk.

All part of a “business transformation”

We can only hope that the good people employed locally with IRD have jobs to go to tomorrow, and the next day.
