Latest road work update from Invercargill City Council.

Watermain renewal work has begun on Don St between Kelvin and Deveron streets. It will take around 40 days. Phase one closes the eastbound lane while westbound traffic is maintained from Deveron St. Phase two brings a partial closure of the Don St/Deveron St intersection, with turning restrictions and signed detours. On-street parking in the active work zone is gone for the duration.

Wastewater upgrades along Coronation St, York St and Tramway Rd, running until December. The Moulson St/Coronation St intersection closes from June 30 to July 14, with further closures at the Moulson St/Brown St and Moulson St/Dyson St intersections. Residents on Coronation St will need to use Tramway Rd to get in and out, though property access from the Moulson St/Coronation St intersection remains available.

Tweed St is already mid-job. Pipe renewal work between Raymond St and Pomona St has both eastbound and westbound lanes reduced to a single shared lane.
