Peacefully at Vickery Court on Thursday 31 July 2025; aged 93 years. Loving and Beloved husband of Tricia for 69 years, loving father and father-in-law of Julie and Marlon Stufkens, David Baird and Nelida Pennington, Fiona and Tim Ward, and Bill Baird and Gill Palmer. Loving Farmer John of Rosemary, Kathryn and Michelle and loving Grandad of Sophie, Lydia, and Alex, Olivia, May, and Lewis and loved great Grandad of his 8 great Grandchildren. In accordance with John’s wishes a private service has been held. A special thanks to Vickery Court staff and close friends for their loving care of John. Passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 31, 2025. Dearly loved wife of the late Geoff, and the late Brian Agnew, much loved Mum of Christine, Lauren, and Anita, and mother-in-law of Damon and the late Marcus. Cherished Grandma of Kiri, Dylan, and Ariana and Charles. Loved sister and sister in-law of Barbara and Brian, Richard and Wendy, Jo-anne and Barrie, Paul, Michael and Sharon. Peacefully, after a long courageous battle, on August 2, 2025; In her 74th year. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Albert for 55 years, very much loved mother and mother-in-law of Diane and Tony, Tracey and Mark, Nic and Shane, John and Gill. Dearly loved and adored Gran of Brett, Shayne Jarod and Sam; Stevie and Jack; Georgia, Ben and Jimmy. Great-Gran of Alfie and Penelope. The family are eternally grateful for the care and support that Cheryl has received from the staff at Dunstan Hospital.
