MITCHELL, Jeffrey Thomas (aka Tom):
Peacefully in Gore on September 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, aged 61 years. Cherished son of Grace and the late Bruce, loved brother and brother-in-law of Carol Armstrong (Wanaka), Ron and Julie (Gore), Ken and Pam (Te Anau), Anne and Paul Cooper (Wanaka), Jill and Jonathan Larrivee (Dunedin); proud father, father-in-law and Grandpa of Dylan, Cindy and Theo Williams (Korea), ever entertaining Uncle Tom to all his nieces and nephews, and former husband, collaborator in life and art of Donna Demente (Oamaru).
Jeff’s life was a symphony of creativity - a creative genius whose spirit lives on in the shapes, colours and music around us.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, October 4, at The Woolshed Function Centre, 575 Waimumu Road, Gore, at 2pm. Donations to Hospice Southland greatly appreciated. REYNOLDS, Margaret Helen Audrey (née Stapleton):
Peacefully on Monday, 15th September 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Loved and cherished Mum of Rebecca, Lisa*, and Wade. Dearly loved Nan Nan of Josh and Amanda, Mike, Jordon, Thomas, and Emily. An adored Great Grandmother, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt, and friend to many. A service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Friday 19th September at 1:00pm with an interment at Eastern Cemetery to follow.
