CHRISTIE, Roger Rowland William:
Peacefully at Southland Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 5, 2026 aged 85 years.  Beloved husband of Lorraine for 61 years: loved Dad and father-in-law of Janice and Brett Cordes, Allison and Mark Shirley, Warren and Susan; loved Pop of Sarah and Connor,  Caitlyn and Lucas; Ashley and David Mackay, Raquel and Rory Gould; and loved Pop Chrissy of Ryan and Rubina, Lily, Kate, and Will Mackay, Parker, and Lucy Gould.  A Memorial service to celebrate the life of Roger will be held in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore on Monday, October 12, at 2.00pm followed by a cuppa. COBURN, Allan James:
(formerly of Invercargill) - Peacefully, at Queenstown Country Club on Saturday, 3 October 2026, aged 88 years.  Dearly loved husband of Dale for 62 wonderful years.  Loved father and father-in-law of Grant and Deborah (Queenstown), Sherilyn and Graham Morton (Auckland), Kerri-Anne and Warren McKenzie (Queenstown).  Adored Granddad of Grayson, Taylor and Brydie; Ashley and Charles; Charlotte and Jeremy; and James.  Great Granddad of Mason and Oliver.  Loved son of the late Jim and Olive, brother and brother-in-law of Dulcie and the late Alan Blomfield, and the late Joy Hawkes.  A service to celebrate Allan's life will be held at St Johns Presbyterian Church, Berkshire Street, Arrowtown on Friday, 9 October at 12.30 pm.  The family warmly invite you to join them for refreshments after the service.  Allan will be interred at Lower Shotover Cemetery, Spense Road thereafter, livestream link available www.southernfunerals.co.nz   The Coburn family would like to thank Chris and his team at Arvida Queenstown Country Club for their compassionate care of Allan.  Messages to Unit 91, 4th Avenue, 420 Frankton-Ladies Mile Highway, Queenstown 9304.
