JOHNSON, Janette Anne (Jan):
On Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, at Home, 56 Stobo Street, peacefully with her Family and dogs.  Loved and treasured wife of 51 years to (Rusty) Henry Johnson.  Fierce protector Mum and Mummy to Kane and Todd, Raiha and Rebekah.  Adored Nanny and Nan to Monique, Taila, Shakyla, Ngakau, Mahae and Kyson.  Treasured Great Nanny Jan to Anashia, Koda and Kalilah. Granddaughter of the late George Wilson, Daughter of the late Neville Eric Dawson (JP) and Joyce Nichol Wilson. Younger Sister and sister-in-law of Sandra and the late John Mckenzie (JP) (Otautau), and older sister of Grant and Jude Dawson (Tauranga).  Treasured Aunty Jan to her nieces and nephews Sarah, Scott, Hannah, Logan, Emma and Graham, Kris and Luke and families.  Loyal lover, Loyal friend, Loved by all till her end.  A service to celebrate Jan’s life will be held in the Wallacetown Community Centre, 57 Dunlop Street, Wallacetown, on Thursday 6th August 2026 at 11 am and then followed by a burial at The Riverton Cemetery. TOPI, Colin Wayne (Toe):
Toe passed peacefully at his home at Bluff, in the devoted care of his family on Sunday 2 August 2026, aged 75 years Beloved husband and partner of Lynne and eldest son of the late Peter and Joyce Topi, loved and respected father and father-in-law of Jack and Maria, Warren and Fita, Tristan and Kelly and their extended families, extremely proud Poua of Javahn, Hunter and Blake Brother and brother-in-law of Warren*, Paul and Michelle, Ricky and Kerri, Tania*,  Dianne*, Rangi and Iona, Jasmine and Jody, Trena* and Glen, Zara and Tom and Uncle Toe to his nephews and nieces, much loved cousin and friend and chauffeur of Tandi. A service to celebrate Toe’s life will be held on Monday 10 August 2026, 1.30pm at J Fraser & Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Private cremation to follow. TURNBULL, Iere Patricia (Pat):
Peacefully at Ross Home, Dunedin on 30 July 2026 aged 92. Loved Daughter of the late Iere and Dudley (Jack) Clarke. Loved sister of the late RIchard and Graham Clarke, and of Enid and brother-in-law Michael Flannery (Wellington). Loved wife of the late Derek Philip Fraser Turnbull (formerly of Sherwood Farm, Tussock Creek, Southland). Loved mother of Jane Turnbull, Philippa Craigie, Stephanie Turnbull, the late Kenneth Turnbull, Fiona Turnbull and Guy Turnbull; and mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to an extended family across New Zealand and Australia. The family thanks the staff of Ross Home, Dunedin, for caring compassionately for Pat in her last four years. After a private family service, Pat will be buried in St John’s Cemetery, Invercargill. Pat’s active life touched many through her involvement with CWI, harrier & veteran athletics administration, genealogy, farmhosting, and CCS. Please remember Pat with fondness, warmth and love.
