Dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Matthew and Terina, Shannon and Steph, Maaka and Wiremu, Riki, Sally, and Elizabeth*, Serenity. Loved daughter of Violet* and Frank Lynch, and Jim* Anderson, loved sister and sister-in-law of Greig and Coral, Michael and Talia. Passed away suddenly after a long illness at Vickery Court Retirement Home, in Invercargill on Monday 17th August 2026 aged 79 years. Beloved husband of Judy for 43 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Kelly, Amy and Haami, Glen and Karla, Tiff and Ben, and Hannah. Much loved Grandad of his 12 grandchildren. Loved son of the late David and Ivy. Loved brother, uncle and friend to many. Thank you to Vickery Court for their wonderful care of Ian over the past couple of months. Loved partner of the late Beth Johnstone, loved son of *Francis and *Olive, loved brother and brother-in-law of *Russell and *Valerie, *Malcolm and *June, loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews, and special family member of the Johnstone family. His blacksmithing, farming and fishing days are over, RIP Stan. The families wish to acknowledge and thank the wonderful staff of the Wyndham Rest Home for their care of Stan over the past 9 years. 24 10 1940 - 16 08 2026. Much loved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and auntie. A creative, caring community member who will be missed. Viewings to be arranged through the family. A celebration of Lindsey’s life will be held on Thursday the 20th August 2026, at 1pm, at Repertory House, 167 Esk St, Invercargill.
