Les passed on 13 February aged 85. Loved husband of the late Violet Carroll. Loved and respected step-father of Trevor* and Linda Caldwell, Ann and Franco Darioli. Adored Grandfather and Great Grandfather of James and Amanda Caldwell, Tim and Brenda Caldwell, Ritchie, Ashton, Sienna; Ollie and Finn. Loved eldest brother of Rex and Pauline*, Owen*, Mary* and Lex Davis, Philip and Rosemarie, Pat* and Geoffrey. Dearly loved Uncle and Great Uncle. MAERE, Debbie (née Wells):
On 15 February 2026, peacefully at Southland Hospital, surrounded by her loving husband and children, aged 67 years. Dearly loved wife of Bill. Much loved mother of Rebecca, Sarah, Jenny, Nathan, and Brenden*. Loved mother-in-law of Holly and Kerri. Adored Nana to her many grandchildren. Loved daughter of the late Henry and Edna Wells, and loved sister and sister-in-law. Forever in our hearts, will always stay, loved and remembered every day. Debbie will be resting at home from 1.00 pm on Tuesday 17 February. A service to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held at the Southland Crematorium, Rockdale Rd, Invercargill on Friday 20 February at 11.30 am. MANAHI, Dorothy Patricia (Dot):
Peacefully on Sunday, 15th February 2026, in the care of Peacehaven Rest Home. Loved wife of Poai (Jim) Manahi. A loved mother and grandmother. Thank you to Peacehaven staff for their wonderful care of Dot. A private cremation has been held.
