CALVERT, Elizabeth:
With much love and sadness we share the unexpected passing of Elizabeth, at home on Sunday, January 4, 2026, aged 76 years. Dearly loved and devoted wife of Alf for 56 years, much loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Paul and Tracey, Karen and Dean, precious Granma of Amanda, Samantha, Emily; Kaitlyn, Noah and great-Granma of Ellie, and Finley. Loved by all her extended family and friend of many. RIP. Requiem Mass to celebrate Eizabeth's life will be held in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3 Killarney Street, Alexandra, on Thursday, January 8, at 1.00pm, then leaving for the Alexandra Cemetery. DEANS, Christopher John:
In loving memory of Christopher who passed away after a short illness on Wednesday, 31st December 2025. Father of Charlee-maree. Dearly loved son of the late George William and Lorna Iris Deans. Much loved brother of Graeme, Lois and Bill, Dianne* and Robert, Judy, Karen, Christine (twin sister) and Eddy*, and Murray and Vicky. Beloved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. MOORE, Andrew Peter:
Sadly, but peacefully passed away, surrounded by the beautiful staff at The Hawthorndale Care Village on Monday 22 December, aged 60 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Marie Moore. Loved youngest son of the late Lucy and Colin Moore. Loved brother to all his siblings and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Andrew will be deeply missed by his mother-in-law Janice and Colin* Meikle and their family. At Andrew’s request a private service and cremation have been held. RICHARDSON, Robert Henry (Bert):
Passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Resthaven Village on January 4, 2026; in his 85th year. Dearly loved husband of Ethel* (Tracey), and Hilda*, treasured father and father-in-law of Vickie* Hagen- Campbell, Leah and Pam Campbell, Charles* Campbell, Sharon* Daly, Linda and Alan Hogg, Donna and Dane Hatcher, William Jackson, Paula and Graham Hume, adored Pop of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Loved brother of David and Marilyn, and cherished uncle of John and Charly, Kate and Gus and family. (*denotes deceased). Special thanks to all the staff at Resthaven.
